The GTO Association of Central Ohio Presents Prevent Blindness with Donation

Dublin, Ohio (March 1, 2019)  –   Lonnie McLaughlin, Treasurer of the GTO Association of Central Ohio, presented Prevent Blindness, Ohio Affiliate President & CEO, Sherry Williams, a check for $1,500 at the club’s annual holiday gathering on February 16, 2019.  This check presentation also marked 28 years of partnership between the organizations and the GTO Association of Central Ohio’s support of PBO’s mission — to prevent blindness and preserve sight. 

The funds will be used to support vision screening, eye health education and the vision care outreach (VCO) program, which provides access to donated comprehensive, professional eye exams, follow up care, education and eyewear to medically indigent children, youth, families and uninsured adults. The goal of the VCO program is to reduce the incidence of vision loss and impairment by providing access to ongoing, comprehensive vision care services.
