Aging Eye Summit 2025

Join us for the 2025 Aging Eye Summit!

Registration 8:00 am
Program from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm, followed by lunch

 

Join in-person or virtually, to learn about:

  • Novel Methods for Measuring Visual Function in Patients with Low Vision
  • Relationship Between Vision and Falls – relationships among falls and visual factors including visual field, contrast sensitivity, visual acuity, and stereopsis
  • Occupational Therapy: Creating a clear vision for Evidence Based Fall prevention in home and community
  • Ocular Nutrition and Exercise -will cover the recommended nutrition for the eyes, in general, but also in the presence of ocular disease
  • Current Practices and Future Prospects of Telemedicine in Diabetic Retinopathy Screening – presenter will discuss AI-based technology for retinal screening in non-eyecare medical settings
  • OSU Age-Friendly Innovation Center –will include resources of Center and tips for working with older patients
  • Social Determinants of Age-Related Macular Degeneration Outcomes
  • And more…

Time: 8:00 am registration – program begins at 8:30am and will conclude with lunch at 12:30 pm

Audience: Professionals from healthcare, the aging network, public health and rehabilitation, patients and caregivers, clinicians, social workers, students, vision researchers, government employees, the bio-tech industry, and others interested in vision health.

The Aging Eye Summit will be held in person at The Ohio State University, College of Optometry, Hamilton Hall, Room 80 and online.
Registration is free and open to the public. Please register by August 6, 2025.
